It includes 21 classes each year with different instructors learning about all areas of newborn photography and above all, newborn safety. I also completed an in-person 4 hour Baby Clinic with Ana Brandt in Sept 2021 in Dillsburg, PA. Ana is one of the most recognized newborn photographers in the world and she has been a professional photographer since 1999. I know CPR for infants, children and adults. I sterilize all blankets and surfaces in my home studio before baby arrives and wash all fabrics. I always, always wash my hands before handling baby! I take my job very seriously, and that includes doing all I can to protect the littlest of my clients.

*Best time to book a newborn session is when you are in your second trimester. Newborn sessions are recommended to be done before 2 weeks of age (preferably between 5-12 days) while they are still in that sleepy and curly stage. After two weeks of age, they tend to be disturbed more easily while sleeping and it is not as easy to get open newborn poses and look. I can take “older newborns” (older than 2 weeks) if my schedule allows, but please note that baby will most likely be in a wrap for the pictures. I will not take newborns older than 8 weeks.

*Your baby grows so much in the first year! From a newborn drinking milk to a 12 month old eating solid snacks and probably walking or sitting up. You’ll want to capture this big birthday with some good portraits. I always recommend taking the photos 1 month-2 weeks before their birthday party. That way, you can have them printed and show them off along with the other photos you probably took each month :-D These photos can be done outside or usually at my home located near Hazleton/Drums, PA.
Does your baby have a food allergy, sensitive to dairy or want a cake smash but WITHOUT the mess?! No Problem! We can still do a “cake smash”. Ask me how!
